Wanderin Lytle Creek FamClamp
6-8 December 2013
Gentlemen Brothers I have great news for our Chapter. Read closely!
Our Chapter has been given permission to erect our Lytle Creek monument at the Ranger Station located at 1209 Lytle Creek Road in the city of Lytle Creek. The date of the dedication will be Sunday 8 December. Of course, we need to do the work to erect the monument on 7 December starting at 0900. Our concrete truck will arrive around 1000 am to pour the mix. We will all yell “Hail Mighty Concrete Truck” as the mix goes into the monument framework. If any new Brother has a special memento to place in the monument just place it in the frame as the concrete is poured.
On Sunday morning, we will remove the framework and prepare for the dedication ceremony starting at 1000 am. I hope as many of our newest Brothers can attend to participate in the erection on Saturday morning and stay for the dedication on Sunday morning 8 December. It was very unfortunate that you new Brothers did not get to erect the monument at the recent Fall Doins. This monument will be yours forever new Brothers!
More good news is that we can again return to the Sherriff’s Rodeo arena and have a weekend FamClamp 6-8 December. Right across from the Rodeo grounds is Glen Helen Park which has many locations for youngster to visit. Also, families may enjoy touring the various areas in Lytle Creek.
The Rodeo arena will open on Friday morning 6 December at 0900 for use. Our Chapter will not provide food and any waste material that you bring in each of you will have to carry it out. We call that “Pack it in and pack it out”. Water is available at the arena and latrine facilities will be provided by the Chapter.
There is No RUB for the event and each Brother can bring their Widders, Orphans and friends, if so desired.
Please let me or NGH Steve Southern know by email or phone if you can attend. Thank you and wishing each of you and yours a very Happy Thanksgiving and Holiday season.
