1. LAS FLORES RANCH San Bernardino Co. October, 1969
From I-15 take SR-138 about 7 ½ miles to SR-173, drive east for two miles and turn left into the Las Flores Ranch property. This is private property and you will have to drive to the plaque in the central area among the buildings. This first plaque of the Billy Holcomb Chapter was under the sponsorship of Platrix Chapter No. 2 and speaks of the murder of three cowboys on the Las Flores Ranch.
2. HOLCOMB VALLEY San Bernardino Co. May, 1970
In the San Bernardino Mountains, take Sr-38 (North Shore Drive) on the north shore of Big Bear Lake to find Van Dusen Canyon Road (forest road 3N09). This intersection if about 8.9 miles east of the Big Bear Lake Dam.. Drive 3.7 miles north to the junction with road 3N16, turn right, go one half mile and pull into the dirt parking area on the left. The plaque is located between the parking area and the cabin to the west. This was a joint dedication with Platrix Chapter No. 2.
3. STODDARD WELLS San Bernardino Co. April, 1971
Take Stoddard Well Road from Victorville and go north for about 14 ½ miles to the site of Stoddard Well. It is about 9 miles from Sr-247 (Barstow Road) south, out of Barstow. This was a joint Clampout with Platrix Chapter No. 2.
4. MARIA MERCED WILLIAMS De RAINS ADOBE San Bernardino Co. May, 1972
The plaque is fastened to the right of the entrance of the Adobe located at the corner of Vineyard Avenue/Carnelian Street and Hemlock Street in Rancho Cucamonga.

The plaque is located about 26 miles east of Indio at the Chiriaco Summit exit from I-10. It is between the Patton Memorial Museum and the Chiriaco Restaurant in a small cactus and palm garden.
6. THE OWL HOTEL San Bernardino Co. May, 1973
The Owl Hotel is in the mining town of Red Mountain, 70 miles north of San Bernardino on SR-395 and 25 miles north of SR-58 at Kramer Junction. It is about 0.1 of a mile south of the Silver Dollar Café on the west side of the highway. The plaque is mounted over the front door.
7. HEART O’THE HILLS Riverside Co. October, 1973, Re-Dedication July, 2006
The site is west of Temecula near the intersection of Camino Estribo and Via Gorrion. The cast aluminum plaque was located high up on the side of a hill and disappeared during the development of the avocado groves. The utopian city Murray Schloss dreamed of was never built.
8. WE REMEMBER BABY San Bernardino Co. May, 1974

Start on SR-62 at Utah Trail in Twentynine Palms, driving about 14.5 miles east and turn right on Gold Crown Road. Drive about 6 miles to where there is a sign on a rock that says "Vail Mining Co." and turn right. In 0.5 mile, turn left. In another 0.5 mile you will pass a mine shaft on the right with a chain link fence around it. Continue another 0.6 mile to a small clearing on the right and park here.. The plaque is located about 100 yards south of the parking area and placed at ground level. The grave site was desecrated and Billy Holcomb Chapter replaced it with this plaque.

The plaque is near the Corn Springs campground about 30 miles east of Desert Center (I-10/SR-177). Take the Corn Springs exit from I-10. The campground is about 71/2 miles south of the I-10 freeway. The plaque is in a cleft in a rock, easily missed. It is about 0.1 mile east of the Riverside County plaque at the campground. Gus was the Mayor here.
10. SILVER DOLLAR SALOON San Bernardino Co. May, 1975
The plaque is mounted over the front door of the Silver Dollar Café in Red Mountain, about 25 miles north of the junction of State Routes 395 & 58, also known as Four Corners. It is mounted next to the Red Mountain plaque.

From Temecula, take SR-79 east towards Aguanga for 15.5 miles to Caprice Road. The plaque is about 200 feet east of the highway by the small fenced-in Bergman Cemetery.
13. JACK AND IDA MITCHELL San Bernardino Co. May, 1977
The plaque is located north of I-40 near the Mitchell Caverns State Recreation Area at the junction of Essex Road and Black Canyon Road. The Mitchell’s lived here and developed Mitchell Caverns.

This is the north end of Box Canyon. The plaque is at the north end of the turnout on the west side of the road. From Mecca, take Avenue 66 northeast for 12 miles to the upper end of Box Canyon.
15. RED MOUNTAIN San Bernardino Co. May, 1978
Red Mountain, a mining town, is about 25 miles north of the junction of SR-395/SR-58. The plaque is mounted above the door of the Silver Dollar Café, formerly the Silver Dollar Saloon.
16. CAMP ROCK SPRING San Bernardino, Co. October, 1978
The former army camp is about 42 miles east of Baker on the "Old Mojave Road." From the junction of Cedar Canyon Road and Black Canyon Road, drive east 5.1 miles and turn right. This road curves past the hill to the site.
17. JUAN DIEGO FLATS Riverside Co. May, 1979
From Temecula take SR-79 east to the junction with SR-371 at Aguanga. Turn left onto SR-371 and in 10.8 miles make a left turn onto Cary Road. Drive 3.5 miles on Cary Road to Tripp Flats Road and turn left. In 1 mile you turn left at the fire station. In 1 more mile veer left at the split in the road. This is Juan Diego Flats Road. High clearance vehicles only, from this junction. In another 2.1 miles you will arrive at the east end of Juan Diego Flats. The plaque is located about 35’ east of the road.

About 48 miles north of Barstow and about 4.5 miles south of Baker, exit I-15 at Rasor Road. Drive east on Rasor Road about 6 miles. The plaque is on the north side of a group of 30 foot tall trees.

The plaque is fastened to a large rock in the Joshua Tree National Park Headquarters and Visitor Center courtyard in Twentynine Palms. The Park Headquarters is one half mile south of SR-62 on Utah Trail.

Start in Ludlow at the I-40 exit ramp 50 miles east of Barstow. The plaque is about 6 miles south of Ludlow near this former copper and gold mining district.
22. SITE OF FIRST HOUSE IN RIVERSIDE COUNTY Riverside Co. October, 1981
About 8 miles south of Corona on I-15 take the Temescal Canyon Road exit. Turn right onto Temescal Canyon Road and drive south for 0.4 mile. Turn right onto Lawson Road. In about 0.2 mile, walk south 0.1 mile. The plaque and remains of the adobe built in about 1824 were near here.

About 8 miles south of Corona, the plaque is on the east side of the I-15 freeway and Temescal Canyon Road exit about 150’ from the road.

The plaque is erected in front of Chino Fire Station No. 2 on Eucalyptus Avenue, west of Route 142.
27. BLUFF LAKE STAGE STOP San Bernardino Co. October, 1982
The plaque is erected next to the original stage stop buildings, on the Pasadena YMCA grounds at Bluff Lake in the San Bernardino Mountains. Bluff Lake is about 3 to 4 miles south of Big Bear Lake’s east end.

The site of the town of Hart is about 15 miles southeast of Nipton. Take the Nipton Road exit off of I-15. Turn right and travel 3.5 miles to Ivanpah Road. Turn right and drive to Ivanpah. Continue 7 miles (pavement ends in 2.3 miles) to the junction at Hart Mine Road. Turn left here. At the first split in the road (4.7 miles) veer right. Also veer right at the next split in the road (0.5 mile). At the next junction (1.8 miles) veer left and continue 1.5 miles to where the plaque is located at a fork in the road.

This plaque is in the Wiley Well Rest Area at the east end of the automobile parking lot. The rest area is 14 miles west of Blythe on I-10 at the Wiley Road intersection and 9 miles north of the well.
35. TAPIA ADOBE SITE San Bernardino Co. June, 1985
The plaque is near the northwest corner of Vineyard Avenue and Route 66. Tiburcio Tapia was granted 13,000 acres of land and built an adobe on Red Hill.

The plaque is 5.7 miles east of the junction of Routes 62 and 177, on the south side of the road. This is the first of the many desert training camps of W.W. II commemorated by E. Clampus Vitus.

The plaque is about 1/3 the distance between Baker and the Colorado River. It is located at the intersection of Cedar Canyon Road and Kelso/Cima Road in the Mojave National Preserve. This plaque was erected by Billy Holcomb members for a T.R.A.S.H. Trek (Trans Sierra Roisterous Alliance of Senior Humbugs) when our own XNGH and XSublime leader of ECV’s Grand Council Sid Blumner was TRASH leader.

The plaque is to the west of the buildings in the Brookside Rest Area, about 3 miles west of the City of Beaumont on westbound I-10. Saahtpa was the name of the village of Juan Antonio who was a chieftain of the Cahuilla Indians.

This plaque located at 8863 Pepper Avenue in Fontana is on the National Register of Historic Places. It is just above SR-66 or Foothill Boulevard.

The plaque is located near I-15 and Harvard Road at the California Department of Fish and Game Wildlife Refuge on the north side of the Mojave River. The location is on the old Cady Ranch property and is accessible via Harvard Road to Cherokee Road and turn left. Proceed 2.5 miles on Cherokee Road and turn right at the second fence line. At the end of this dirt road is the monument.

This difficult to get to plaque is about 30 miles off the coast of Monterey, California at longitude 112 degrees 29’ 16", latitude 36 degrees 23’ 14" on the floor of the Pacific Ocean.

Plaque located on Old Route 66, 4 miles north of Devore, Ca. The Blue Cut is on the San Andreas Fault.

Plaque located at 140 Main Street (Old Route 66) in Oatman, Arizona. This was a joint Clampout with the Lost Dutchman Chapter of Arizona.

The address of this plaque is 82616 Miles Avenue in Indio. It is mounted to the wall on your left, after entering the property. Smiley Place was built by Dr. Harry W. Smiley in 1926 and served as the first medical office in Indio.

The plaque was reverently deposited in the deep of the Harbor alongside the spirits of the deceased by members of the United States Naval ship Peleliu in honor of those who fell in defense of their country.

The plaque is located at the junction of SR-14 and Jawbone Canyon Road, about 20 miles north of the city of Mojave. Josie finally hit pay dirt in 1937 by discovering the richest radium deposit known at the time. This was a 3 Chapter Clampout with Peter Lebeck and Slim Princess chapters.

This plaque is less than 20 miles north of St. George, Utah. Exit the I-15 freeway at Exit 22. Drive south on the east side of I-15 on the frontage road about 2 miles to the St. George mobile home park. This is a Western Horizon Resort. The plaque is about 150 feet inside the St. George mobile resort entrance and is mounted on a metal post in a grassy area.

This is in the northeast quadrant of Nipton Road and the railroad tracks. It is on the south side of the Nipton Trading Post parking lot. Nipton is about 3 miles west of the state boundary with Nevada and 10.2 miles from I-15 by way of Nipton Rd.

This plaque is at the junction of SR-127 and Saratoga Springs Road at the south end of Death Valley. The plaque was replaced after the original was stolen. The site is across the highway from the Dumont Dunes.

The plaque was erected on September 11, 1999 as a planned part of the entrance to the Cibola Park in Arizona. It is located at the southwest corner of River Road and Baseline Road. This was a Tripartite Clampout with the Lost Dutchman and John P. Squibob chapters.

The plaque is on the southwest corner of River Road, Cibola Road and Baseline Road about 20 miles south of I-10 on the Arizona side of the river.
