“Our chapter lost a pretty damn fine Brother. John Szarzynski has passed, he was what we called our ‘lead element’ cause he always arrived a day before and scoped a clampsite for us, [Those Guys]….and had things a ready. I am glad to have shared some good laughs over the years & camps. He will surely be missed in our camp….may the Golden Hills treat him right.”

“It is without grief, because of years of suffering, that my cousin and Clamper Brother, Patrick Miller Robertson, will suffer no more and has headed out to the gold fields to dig and prosper with Billy Holcomb. He’s now smoking, drinking, eating bad shit without worry, and running big iron without permission from Operating Engineers Local 12 with his big brother Bill “Pop” Samson. Patrick was candle lighted into our chapter in 2008. His wife is one of Jack “Dragnuts” Webb’s daughters. He was 81.“
